Thirty-two Saffron Walden Town bowlers enjoyed a competitive and friendly afternoon in the inaugural President vs Captain match on Bank Holiday Monday. The Captain's team just edged victory by 5 shots, 87-82, thus winning the Jack Butler Cup. Spectators, friends and family joined the bowlers for refreshments in the clubhouse afterwards to round off a successful day. Attention now turns to the club finals weekend on August 31st, September 1st and September 2nd.
