Saffron Walden Town new bowlers benefited from two coaching classes led by Steve Black this week. Steve is a qualified coach and umpire who has officiated at national indoor and outdoor finals. The focus was on improving techniques and understanding of the basics of the game. The evenings were enjoyable, useful and very much appreciated by our bowlers. We look forward to Steve returning early next season to run a session on marking.

You can get to Abbey Lane either at the traffic lights on the high street or from going down Gibson Way and turning left at the end. You enter a single lane part of the road and once you have passed the King Edward Almshouses on your right you will see a car park, also on your right, and then the clubhouse.
